Why our lemon
The European lemon, top quality
Our products
Verna & Fino lemons
The main varieties produced by the Font family are Verna and Fino. Both fruits are attractive, aromatic and nutritious, with high levels of citric acid, amino acids and vitamins C and D, and cardiovascular, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
Their peel, leaves and petals contain aromatic oils — high-quality raw materials for the food and spice industry — while the peel also provides flavonoid glycosides, pectin and vitamins used by the pharmaceutical industry.

Variety 01
Fino lemon
The most traditional variety in Spain, usually grown in meadows. Its main flowering runs from April to May, with fruit harvested between October and May. A second flowering at the end of summer produces the “Rodrejos” or late lemons, harvested the following summer.
Highly prized for its abundant juice — around 40% of the fruit’s weight — as well as its citric acid and essential oils.

Variety 02
Verna lemon
The second most traditional Spanish variety, grown on hillsides bordering meadows and on newly converted land. It can have up to three flowering periods and, in mild areas, bear fruit almost all year round.
The first flowering runs from March to May (picked February to late July); the second, in spring and summer, gives the “sanjuaneros” fruit; the third, from August to September, the “limón rodrejo” or late lemon, picked the following summer.
